1840W is an array that can be squeezed onto almost any terraced city-centre property roof - or will easily fit on a semi in the suburbs! At £9200 (including VAT at the lower rate of 5% which applies to renewable energy installations), it offers an excellent return on the initial investment - over 8% per year on a south-facing unshaded roof.

The system includes...

8 Powerglaz 230W solar panels. Powerglaz panels are made in the UK, and come with a 25 year warranty on power output. We've chosen the most efficient panels in the range, to maximise output per unit area.

Mastervolt XS2000 inverterDutch inverter manufacturers Mastervolt have an enviable reputation for reliability. The XS2000 model is perfectly sized for arrays of this size.

Robust aluminium mounting system Designed for weathertight mounting on slate or tiles roofs.

Professional installation The price includes all the remainder of the system such as meters, isolators and cabling, and professional installation by a reputable MCS-accredited installer. The system will be demonstrated to you, and we'll give you an information pack and manuals.

What's not included....

For most people - nothing! The price includes VAT (5% for energy efficiency measures) and is based on an installation within 10 miles of Cambridge, with easy roof access (two storeys or less with space for a lightweight scaffolding unit to be erected), and an electrical installation that complies with modern standards with a spare fuseway in the consumer unit.

Most properties will qualify for the base price. Where we do identify additional work that is needed (eg to improve the earth bonding on a property, to add a small second consumer unit if there is no spare fuseway in your existing unit, or because access is difficult) we will do the work at our usual hourly rate, and will always agree the costs with you beforehand.

We're happy to travel further afield, though there may be a small additional cost.
